7U/8U (Pinto):Â Tue 11/24, 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Pitching Fundamentals: body control and basic mechanics
- 4-seam fastball grip and throwing progressions to warm up
- The windup: standing on the rubber, rocker step, leg lift, breaking the hands, front foot landing, weight shift, rotation and follow-through
- The stretch (12U): slide step or leg lift, then the same delivery steps
- Holding runners and pick-off moves to 1st and 2nd (12U)
- Arm care and pitch counts
- Drills for each piece of the delivery, finishing with throwing to a target square on the wall
Register for the player’s age group as of May 1, 2027. Bring a water bottle and baseball glove; no spikes. Please arrive 5 minutes early for check-in.
